Scientifical research has a history of thousands of years. Science has offered many gifts to mankind. Fire was the first discovery and wheel was the first invention. Since that time we have travelled far. Scientists like Albert Einstein and Isaac Newton, and many others have turned the tables of the world.
We can’t live without electricity. Everything in our life depends on it. The invention of the computer and mobile phone changed our life completely. For instance, computers can pay wages, reserve seats on planes, control satellites in space, work out tomorrow’s weather, play chess and even compose music. An automobile has become a part of our life.
- Do you use many gadgets and devices at home? Why (not)?
I can’t imagine my life without modern gadgets and devices. I have a lot of them at home. I can do nothing without the Internet and my mobile phone. If we had no the Internet we wouldn’t obtain the necessary information as quickly as possible, we would lose an important source of education and communication.
Mobile phones provide users an access to the Internet, sending and receiving e-mails and text messages, watching TV, listening to music, taking photos, navigating by the Global Positioning System and phoning.
My mum uses a lot of modern devices for cooking. They save her spare time and make her life easier.

- My niece is not very good at science at school. Tell her how to achieve better results?
First of all it is necessary to learn the ABC of science. Always study. Develop patience. Study, compare, gather facts and listen to the teacher attentively.
It is necessary to remember that Science demands of man the greatest effort and supreme passion.
- People are becoming more dependent on high-tech devices. Is it good or bad?
I can’t say it is good or bad. Such modern devices as TV, computers, radio, mobile phones help us kitchen appliances make the life of housewives easier and more comfortable. But of course we should learn how to live without them.
