  1. Let’s talk about sport and healthy way of lifestyle. What do you do to keep fit?

It goes without saying that doing sports is very important for every person. A certain amount of exercise is necessary to keep your body in good shape. Sport is given a lot of attention all over the world as it helps to bring up strong and healthy people. It creates, so to speak, a healthy body for a healthy mind. It also makes people more self-organized and better disciple.

There is always a kind of sport which will suit you and there are many different kinds to choose from. If you like team games, you can play football, volleyball, ice-hockey, field-hockey or basketball. Games to play with a friend include badminton, riding, horse riding or athletics.

At present sport in our country is paid a lot of attention to by the government and much is being done to set up all necessary facilities for its development. Many skating rinks, stadiums are built for people to go in for sports. Our country has held the 2014 Ice Hockey Championship in Minsk. The symbol of this event became a Belarusian bison- named Volat. A lot of people came to our country to attend this championship. Though, our national team didn’t win, it was a great attraction. I am proud that my country and its government do a lot to make their nation fit and healthy.

  1. Does smoking lead to serious health problems? What are they?

Smoking is one of the 20th century maladies. It is now banned in many places so, that other people don’t have to breathe in smoke choking tobacco smoke.

Passive smoking can damage your health just like smoking can. Smoking becomes addictive very quickly, and it’s one of the hardest habits to break.

Smoking leads to chronic bronchitis, emphysema, it increase your blood pressure and pulse rate. This can contribute to heart disease.

  1. What food should we eat to keep fit?
  2. What exercises is it necessary to do to keep fit?
  3. Is it necessary to do exercises under the guidance of professional coach?
  4. How often is it necessary to do exercises?
  1. What activities can you advise a person who wants to have a healthy way of life?

I believe that health is better than wealth. In order to be healthy we should avoid bad habits that can affect our health, I mean smoking, drinking alcohol and eating junk food. We should eat more fresh vegetables and fruit, foods which are high in fiber and vitamins A, B, C and E (such as cabbage, carrot, tomatoes, cherries, apricots and so on).

It’s also very good to have some regular exercises. Swimming is the best way to keep fit.

Regular sleeping habit is also important. We need to sleep from 7 to 9 hours a day.

We should take care of health, because health one lost is lost forever.

 

  1. If you had an opportunity to open a health centre what would it be like? What would you offer to the visitors?

Oh, if I had such an opportunity it would be a complex health centre with a swimming-pool, spa-center, gym and a café with healthy food. There would be special rooms for children where parents can leave them and special coaches will do exercises with them or just entertain them. People would listen to relaxing music while training.
